Canada’s Best Managed Companies

This award recognizes excellence in Canadian-owned and managed private companies with over $10 million in revenue. Every year hundreds of entrepreneurial companies have competed for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the success of their abilities and practices, but only 50 every year are selected. The title of “Best Managed” is inclusive of the hard work, and dedication of all of the employees who make the company what it is. To become a Platinum member winners must maintain Best Managed Companies status for a minimum of six consecutive years.

Teresa is the Human Resource Administrator for Alliance Energy and has been with Alliance for almost 7 years. Her position covers a wide range of critical functions for staff, including hiring, training and benefits, and she does it all with proficiency and efficiency. She brings energy, optimism and passion to her job on a daily basis. Her positive attitude and focus on teamwork have contributed greatly to Alliance’s success.

Chad has been with Alliance Energy for 14 years, starting as an apprentice electrician and working his way up to Project Manager. Chad is both an accomplished PM and respected leader and mentor with Alliance. He has achieved many other designations in his relatively short career, including Gold Seal Certification, PMP designation, and BA in Economics. He also plays a very active role in several community and industry associations.

SABEX (Saskatoon Awards of Business Excellence)

Alliance Energy Ltd. is proud to announce that we have been recognized as the recipient for the 2013 Community Involvement award at the Saskatoon Awards of Business Excellence.

The SABEX awards are an event that is put on by the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce. The awards honour businesses in the Saskatoon community that exemplify top business performance, quality, and achievement across several award categories.

The Community Involvement award is awarded to the business demonstrating exceptional performance in its support of the arts, culture, amateur sports, education or volunteer groups.

SCA (Saskatchewan Construction Association Awards)

Recognizes the efforts of the member firm in advancing the industry through the development of or involvement in educational programs, workforce development initiatives, industry sector development initiatives or public advocacy work.

Recognizes the role that a member of SCA has played in the development of their community. The award recognizes the member firm for their participation or initiative with community organizations, charities, sports organizations, etc within their particular community.

She is committed to excellence, creates and inspires a positive work environment, and influences and motivates positive change in her profession, trade or workplace.

SaskBusiness awarded Bryan Leverick “Men of Influence”, The 11th annual listing of the leading men who are making a difference in Saskatchewan.

Jan McLellan Folk our CFO was awarded this year’s SaskBusiness Women of Influence Award. Each year, SaskBusiness profiles the women whose achievements and leadership set them apart as some of the most influential personalities in the province.

Paul McLellan (CEO) was presented the Artisan Award from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification at the 2008 Apprenticeship Awards. This award recognized Paul’s outstanding contributions to the apprenticeship program in Saskatchewan.

Paul McLellan – The inaugural Darryl Cruickshank Memorial Award was presented to Paul McLellan at the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum’s (CAF) 2010 Fifth National Conference. The Darryl Cruikshank Memorial Award was commissioned by the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship (CCDA) to honour Mr. Cruickshank’s significant contributions to the Interprovincial Standards Red Seal Program. This award was presented to Paul for his long-standing contributions to apprenticeship in Canada, and in particular, he has demonstrated exemplary commitment to the training and development of apprentices in Saskatchewan.

Jan McLellan Folk CFO 2011 The FCMA is a prestigious, national honorary designation. The award of the FCMA recognizes CMA’s, who by their achievements, bring distinction to the profession and serve as role models for others. The distinguishing qualities of an FCMA are a demonstrated excellence in management accounting, commitment to and pride in the CMA designation and their professional organization, and a civic-mindedness which brings a community’s respect to the member and, through the member, to the CMA designation.
