In 1996, Regina opened the first full service casino in Western Canada in the former Union Station on Saskatchewan Drive. The project combined the original building and a new design, built on a fast paced schedule of six months. The building is 80,000 sq. feet with 25,000 sq. feet in the gaming area, a restaurant, lounge, entertainment stage, piano bar and 500 car parking lot. The third floor contains the offices of the Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation, now SIGA.
